Mt. Elbert Memory Sketch

My brother and I climbed Mt. Elbert, Colorado's highest mountain in 1981. It was altitude training for climbing Pico de Orizaba Mexico's highest mountain. We got as far as the village of Orizaba at the base of the mountain. Our climbing gear didn't, it was stolen by baggage handlers in Vera Cruz. We waited two days in Orizaba and returned to Vera Cruz. This is a sketch of a view I remember from the summit, I especially remember the silvery white lakes shining in the sun to the southwest. Still fresh after 20+ years. This was done with an application called Artrage 2.0, it works on Mac or Windows and is totally free. Well worth the download some great results with some practice.
